• We accept 50% deposit of the hunt package to confirm your dates.
• Any cancellation within 90 days of the fishing/hunting trip will incur loss of deposit.
• Prior bookings are essential.
• 6 month advanced bookings recommended.
• Trips are cancelled only under serious weather conditions. Should a rescheduled date not be available the deposit will be refunded. All prices quoted include Goods & Services Tax (GST).
• No requirement for licencing or import permits on archery equipment into New Zealand.
• Aim to shoot up to 50 Yards or 45 Meters with your bow.
• One hunter per guide.
• Included in all hunt Quotes are: daily rates, lodgings B&B, field preparation,transferrs from airport and return to airport.
• Not included is personal expenditure, selected recreational activities, helicopter hire, expediting costs and Taxidermy.
• A hunting itinerary will be customized to suit your needs.
• The hunter has a choice to hike up to the alpine area to hunt Tahr or access the Tahr Wilderness hunting area by helicopter.
• AS AN OPTION: Helicopter rates start from$NZ1250.00 per hour. The average helicopter hire would be 2 hours to complete a Tahr hunt. Hire is for the helicopter not per person. *
• Helicopters are hired as a "pack horse". This allows a hunter to achieve maximum daylight hunting time.
